I know this is a late response but please try to get your parents to get you into counseling and if you can have a counseling session with them where your therapist can educate them on the disorder then definitely do that. I have been diagnosed with severe depression and mild anxiety, and Im not sure if my twitches are because of anxiety or actual tourettes.
