The lawsuit includes a before-and-after photo from a Cynosure brochure that shows the complete elimination of a tattoo from a patient. Dermatologists like Zeichner now prescribe hydroquinone, which relaxes pigment-making cells, for a week before and after a fractionated-laser procedure so it wont trigger pigment production.
